Judith Prays

IKEA, 2004, dorm shopping.

I see a round mattress.

Mom says I can't have it.

That makes it clear I must have it.

A round bed became a symbol to me of success,

of being good at life.

7 years later, I bought a round mattress.

Due to unforseen difficulties

I had to get a frame and headboard comissioned.

And, if it's already being hand made,

might as go all the way.

Folks, this is my bed.
